Onboard Stability Load Monitor for Ships

Onboard Load, Stability & Strength Monitor

The GLM Load Monitor is the onboard version of GHS, designed for real-time trim, stability and strength assessment of vessels at sea. Today, the GLM Load Monitor equips over 600 vessels worldwide — from tankers, bulkers and container ships to heavy-lift carriers, semi-submersibles, drill ships, research vessels, naval vessels, ice breakers, fishing vessels and passenger vessels.

Key features and capabilities:

  • Automatic trim, stability and strength assessment
  • Compatible with all types and sizes of ships and platforms
  • Built on the vessel’s geometrical model for high accuracy
  • Formal approval from DNV-GL and Lloyd’s Register
  • Sensor interface for live tank, ballast and draft monitoring
  • Multi-body, crane systems and anchor systems support

Furthermore, every GLM Load Monitor installation is configured directly from the vessel’s GHS model through the GLM_Maker wizard. As a result, the license attaches to the vessel geometry — and the software can be freely replicated across the operator’s fleet.

In addition, the GLM Load Monitor integrates seamlessly with onboard sensors to deliver real-time stability data to the bridge, helping captains and operators make safer loading and ballasting decisions in any sea condition.
