Nick visited clients and prospects in the UK the week of October 7th, meetings focused on the application of the NDAR Naval Architecture Design Solution and of ShipConstructor to the life cycle of a ship design and building process.

The NDAR Design Solution is built on the Rhino3D platform, covers Naval Architecture, 2D/3D General Arrangements, weight/CG prediction & tracking, cost estimation & tracking, etc., with the specific goal of allowing the validation of the project from the earliest possible stage. The NDAR Design Solution includes Orca3D, ExpressMarine, VisualARQ, GHS, MAESTRO, NavCad, Altair Hypermesh, ShipConstructor, etc.

The NDAR Shipbuilding Solution exploits Autodesk applications and ShipConstructor. The NDAR Design & Shipbuilding Solutions are integrated. Its relational project database manages model, output drawings, deliverables, sister/series ships, Digital Prototypes and Twins and feeds the SSI ShipbuildingPLM environment.
