NDAR and ENSTA Bretagne proudly award the NDAR Best in Class Prizes to the Winners of the
Ship Design Loop assignment 2023
NDAR and ENSTA Bretagne partner in providing state-of-the-art Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering software for Naval Engineering students, such as GHS, Rhino3D and Orca3D.
In addition to directly supporting the School with academic software and tutoring, NDAR awards the NDAR Best in Class Prize to the winners of the Ship Design Loop assignment at ENSTA Bretagne.
The prize for best achievement in the ENSTA Bretagne Ship Design Loop assignment 2023 consisted of a full perpetual license each of Rhino3D + Orca3D + ExpressMarine software and was awarded to the team of:
Thomas STEINTHAL
Cyanna DURAND
Aude GOUJON
Gabriel MOULIERAC
for the outstanding work accomplished on their group project.
The NDAR Prize is co-sponsored by NDAR (France), Orca3D LLC (USA) and B&A Software (Norway)
NDAR and ENSTA Bretagne have partnered for over 10 years. NDAR provides naval engineering software lab kits Rhino3D, Orca3D, GHS and NavCad and tutoring.
A special thank you goes to the great team at ENSTA-Bretagne for their support, without which the NDAR Best in Class Prize would not have been possible.
“The software Orca3D, GHS and NavCad allowed us to create an efficient design spiral, which rendered the entire ship-loop exercise effective despite the tight time schedule: A hull form created within minutes with Orca3D, NavCad rapidly confirmed the power requirement, and the associative modelling offered by GHS allowed the running of several complete loops of stability.”
